You're the scheduler on release day. Pick a pod from the queue and assign it to a node where CPU and memory fit, respecting taints (GPU) and affinity (on-demand). Survive HPA bursts, rolling updates, NotReady nodes, spot interruptions and noisy neighbors. Use Karpenter, Cordon & drain and Rollback. Deploy 40; 3 failures and you're out. Pack tight, spend little.
